Head Chef

Shane has worked in hospitality since the ripe old age of 16 years old and has worked alongside our very own Chef Director during the beginnings of his career at the Swan in Salford. His experience and achievements speak for themselves with an impressive array of awards including winning Chef of the Year at both the MK Food & Leisure Awards … (twice) and the Carlsberg Food & Drink Awards. During his career he has also attained 2 rosettes and worked as a Private Chef in Verbier, Switzerland.

Shane and his brother, Aaron, also organise pop-up restaurant dinner parties. Outside of work Shane maintains his passion for food and drink as he enjoys dining out, good wines, foraging ingredients and even boasts green fingers looking after his very own orchard! When he finally downs the cooking utensils he can be found snowboarding and spending time with his son, Teddy and dog, Buddy.
